Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will urge EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) to listen to his conscience on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. This urging comes amid EJ’s increasingly dangerous medical scheme that almost got Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) killed. All of this drama also comes during Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) disappearance.
EJ is acting more and more like his father, Stefano. Can Marlena get through to him and get him to confess to all that he has done?
EJ Is Causing Destruction in Salem
EJ has quite a lot of problems at the moment — and not just within his family. His secret medical projects with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton), particularly his so-called miracle drug that has brought Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) back to life, have drawn scrutiny at the University Hospital.
Of course, his most damaging situation involves his framing of Holly. EJ has framed Holly by planting pills in her bag — and all to save the DiMera family company from going under from her poisoning.
Recent Days of Our Lives spoilers have hinted that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) is on to EJ. Xander is set to tell Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) all about the drugs being planted on Holly… but will they all figure out it leads straight back to EJ?
Then, there’s the Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) of it all. Cat is currently operating inside EJ’s orbit as his assistant — while also secretly working undercover for the ISA. However, is Cat about to switch sides to support EJ, especially amid the investigation into Gwen’s disappearance?
EJ’s control is beginning to crack thanks to all of this drama he’s involved in — and all of this drama he helped to create. After Marlena warns Cat, it looks like she confronts EJ. Will she be the one to get through to the DiMera heir?
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Will EJ Confess — or Become Stefano 2.0?
Now, the question remains: will EJ confess to all he has done, or will he become just like his father? If EJ confesses to any number of his crimes, he’ll be in quite a lot of trouble. Obviously, it would destroy any credibility he has left at the hospital, put his partnership with Rolf under harsher scrutiny, and damage his reputation. There are also legal ramifications to think of.
It increasingly feels like there’s going to be no way for EJ to get out of this mess. He’s not going to confess to anything when he could lose everything.
New Days of Our Lives spoilers have also confirmed that Marlena isn’t the only one trying to save EJ. While she tries to get him to listen to his conscience — and perhaps confess to all that he’s done — his mother, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), feels that her son is becoming just like his father.
Two women who have known EJ for quite a long time are worried for him. They’re worried about who he’s becoming. EJ might reject Marlena’s urging… but will he easily reject what Susan has to say?
And just how could EJ be redeemed for all that he’s done? Or will he never be redeemed and fully become Stefano 2.0?
