Beyond the Gates spoilers confirm that Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) will seek out her sister, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley), for relationship advice on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. This comes immediately after Nicole’s ex-husband, Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson), crosses the line with her.
This also comes as Nicole has decided to become more serious with Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan). As Nicole balances more than one romance and clearly unresolved history with Ted, can Dani give her the advice she desperately needs?
Nicole’s Dramatic Love Life
Nicole’s love life has been dramatic, to say the least, for quite a while. After her marriage to Ted imploded after Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) exposed her decades-old affair with him, Nicole also struggled with the fact that Ted had a daughter with Leslie. This huge betrayal ended Nicole and Ted’s marriage.
However, the two have managed to put aside past feelings of hurt and become friendly with one another now that they are divorced. That emotional connection they have always shared is still there between them — for better or for worse.
Once Nicole became single, she chose not to rush into any commitment. Instead, she started openly dating both Dr. Kial Rollins and Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley).
That has led to some tension between her and Ted now and again. Now, that tension has come back into play last week, as Beyond the Gates spoilers confirmed, when Ted and Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) reached a new relationship milestone. The two are in love and getting serious!
Nicole received this news and did her best to be happy for Shanice. Now, however, it looks like Ted is about to cross the line with Nicole. Could this harm his blossoming relationship with Shanice? And his newfound friendship with Nicole?

These new spoilers reveal that Nicole will seek out Dani for some advice on her current romantic life. Could Dani help Nicole choose between Kial and Carlton, finally? Or will Dani push her back to Ted?
So far, all signs, spoilers, and rumors point to Nicole choosing Kial over everyone else. Of course, that doesn’t mean that this will actually happen. Especially as Ted might remain a destabilizing factor in Nicole’s love life.
As these Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest, Ted’s interest in Nicole may be protection and concern. It could also be jealousy, as he clearly will always love his ex-wife. Dani understands complicated ex-husbands, so if anyone can help Nicole see straight — and not return to Ted — it’ll be her.
