Recently, Nicole decided that she was ready to move forward with Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan). Meanwhile, Ted is also moving forward in his own love life, and his relationship with Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) has reached a serious new stage. For both Nicole and Ted, things seem wonderful in their relationships.

Ted and Nicole’s Tricky Relationship
Ted and Nicole have come a long way since their relationship first fell apart on BTG. Their marriage collapsed after Nicole learned the truth about his long-ago affair with Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) — and the daughter Ted shares with Leslie, Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle).
All of this betrayal was revealed publicly, and it was one of the worst times of Nicole’s life. However, she eventually rebuilt her romantic life — and this included dating more than one man at the same time.
Recently, as previous Beyond the Gates spoilers confirmed, Nicole decided that Kial was the man that she needed in her life. It looks like she might be ready to fully commit to him. Meanwhile, Ted and Shanice have openly declared their love for one another.
Previously on the soap opera, when Kial told Nicole about Ted and Shanice’s latest development, Nicole admitted that hearing about it made her feel rather strange. However, she also insisted to her new beau that this did not mean she wanted to get back together with Ted.
Later on, Nicole even congratulated Shanice and admitted that she could never have chosen a better woman for Ted. Nicole seems willing to treat Ted’s new relationship with restraint and support… but will Ted do the same?

There are many reasons why Ted may find himself crossing the line with Nicole. Most likely, this all has to do with Nicole’s relationship with Kial. Previously on BTG, Ted struggled with Nicole’s new dating life. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a total surprise to learn that he might push himself into her private life and question her choices.
