Beyond the Gates spoilers reveal that Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones) is back in Fairmont Crest on Friday, July 24, 2026 — and she has a little bit of a warning for her brother, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom). She says she’s back to tie up some loose ends!
A little ominous, indeed! Of course, we all know that Heather is the Impaler. As a result, her message to her brother could hint that something dangerous is about to happen.
The Impaler Is Back
Way back on June 8, 2026, Heather revealed to Joey that she was, in fact, the Impaler — you know, the crime boss who was behind the illegal plasma operation that targeted Garland Memorial Hospital and the Phoenix Street Clinic?
During this major reveal, we also learned a bit more about what Heather has been up to. Heather has built an international criminal organization ever since she left home. Now, she has established herself in London.
Previous Beyond the Gates spoilers also confirmed that Heather didn’t return to town to reconnect with her brother, Joey. Nope, instead she wanted to combine their illegal enterprises. According to Heather, her willingness to get her hands dirty would pair rather well with Joey’s more controlled methods.
Joey, of course, rejected Heather’s partnership. Heather left without too much of a fight, though she did promise to stay in contact this time with her brother. This all left Joey with the decision to tell his current love, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli), that his sister had resurfaced. However, he did not reveal that Heather was the Impaler.
Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Heather Wants to Tie Up Loose Ends
According to these new spoilers, it looks like Heather is back in town — and ready to tie up the loose ends she might have left behind. Obviously, this points to the plasma ring, though it could also have something to do with Joey rejecting her idea of a partnership.
Previously on BTG, Heather had said she decided to move her organization out of Joey’s own territory. However, now she’s back. So, is she still up to no good on Joey’s turf? Will she still honor Joey’s warning?
While these new Beyond the Gates spoilers don’t hint at why, exactly, Heather might be back, it’s almost a certainty that she will find herself face to face with her brother again. Heather might want to be seen as Joey’s equal. She’s not going to want protection from her older brother.
So, will she fight to have Joey as a partner again now that she’s back in town? Or is she going to view Joey as an obstacle to her continued success… or, even worse, a liability?
