Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Joy Drops a Bombshell on Alex

Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) is about to make a rather shocking demand of Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) on Monday, July 27, 2026. Unfortunately for the two parents, it looks like things are going to become rather tense between them — so much so that it might become a legal battle!

Are Joy and Alex about to start fighting over their daughter, Kelsey, in a custody battle? And could it all be because of Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) latest moves?

Drama Ahead for Alex and Joy

Previously on DOOL, Joy left Salem in March 2025 after lying to both Alex and Stephanie about the pregnancy test she had taken. She said the test was negative; in reality, she had a baby and kept Alex completely unaware that she was carrying his child.

When Joy returned in April 2026 with baby Kelsey, she admitted the truth to Alex. After a DNA test confirmed that Joy was telling the truth, Alex and Stephanie were forced to try to rebuild their new marriage around this bombshell.

It hasn’t been easy. As Days of Our Lives spoilers hinted at, Stephanie was traumatized by her recent stalking and kidnapping situations. Things between the three quickly turned dangerous when Stephanie, mistaking Joy for an intruder, fired a gun.

While Joy wasn’t shot, it greatly harmed the peace the two had between one another — and Joy demanded that Stephanie stay away from Kelsey. If she did so, she wouldn’t press charges. At first, Alex accepted the condition without initially telling Stephanie about it. Now, Alex and Joy have a little secret… and Joy can use this as leverage over how and when Alex sees his daughter.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Joy Makes a Huge Demand of Alex

So far, we don’t know exactly what demand Joy makes of Alex on Monday. However, it appears to be a rather big demand — and one that could change everything between Joy, Alex, and Stephanie.

Upcoming Days of Our Lives spoilers for the rest of the week offer further hints of what Joy may demand. More than likely, Joy’s demand concerns custody of Kelsey. Perhaps Joy remains unhappy over Stephanie’s access to Kelsey? Regardless of what Joy asks, it looks like Alex immediately refuses — which suggests that he’s unwilling to create whatever boundary Joy has in mind.

So, does Joy threaten his marriage to Stephanie? Or his rights to Kelsey as her father? Either is possible. As further Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week also confirm that Joy seeks out Belle Black (Martha Madison) for some legal advice, it’s clear that Alex’s refusal changes things between them. Joy is ready to fight for what she thinks is right — even in a court of law.

Therefore, we could see Joy try to formalize Stephanie’s restriction to Kelsey. Joy could also seek out primary custody of Kelsey and court orders that demand Alex meet certain conditions for him to even see his daughter.

Perhaps the most dramatic situation? Joy could demand that Alex choose between Stephanie and Kelsey. Could Joy indeed push Alex to leave Stephanie… and all so he can continue seeing his daughter?
