General Hospital spoilers hint that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) continue to get closer. Ava has been a rock for Sidwell since his son, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), was brutally murdered. After all, Ava knows what it’s like to lose a child.
Official General Hospital spoilers confirm that on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, Sidwell confides in Ava. Could this be about the deep sadness he feels over his son’s death? Or about his recent face-off with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who he feels murdered Marco?
Regardless of what specifically Sidwell discusses with Ava, one thing is certain: these two are definitely getting closer, and nothing has swayed one from the other. As Sidwell goes through these trying times, it appears he’ll at least have Ava there by his side… even if he has no one else.
Will Ava and Sidwell Last on GH?
Recently on GH, Ava and Sidwell had a heart-to-heart about their relationship. Sidwell was very clear. He told Ava that he wasn’t a one-woman kind of man. As he’s currently also seeing Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), Sidwell let Ava know that he wasn’t about to have her demand that he be faithful to only her.
Ava seems fine with their relationship… for now. Since this conversation, tragedy has struck Sidwell’s life, as his son Marco was brutally stabbed and killed. Ava has been by his side every step of the way, and these new General Hospital spoilers indicate that they will continue to connect, even during tragedy.
But does this mean that their relationship will last? Lucy recently revealed to Brook Lynn Quatermaine (Amanda Setton) that she’s done with Sidwell, and she made a huge mistake in allowing him to have access to her business. Now, she’s hoping to cause drama between Sidwell and Ava, all so she can get her business out of Sidwell’s grasp.
So, while Ava and Sidwell may be bonding, if Lucy gets her way, that may soon come to an end!
