General Hospital spoilers confirm that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is bringing two WSB-connected characters face-to-face on Thursday, August 20, 2026. Anna is set to introduce Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)!
Though the official spoiler is rather vague, it’s very interesting. After all, both Tristan and Josslyn are tied, in different ways, to the show’s WSB story. Plus, the exact nature of Tristan’s past — and potentially lingering obligations — to the bureau remains very unclear.
Through his meeting with Joss, could we learn more about this mysterious new character?
New WSB Characters on GH
Tristan first arrived in Port Charles in July as the hospital’s new surgeon. The show’s writers have described this new character as an accomplished Australian surgeon looking for a fresh start. However, they’ve also claimed that connections to a life he left behind would complicate this new start he’s looking for.
As previous General Hospital spoilers hinted, his arrival immediately raised a few questions. Tristan was the one who accompanied Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) home after Jason was released from WSB custody in Jakarta. Later, Jason told Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) that Tristan was his WSB escort. Though Tristan has denied being an agent, he has admitted that he worked at a WSB medical facility.
Of course, we now know that something else appears to be going on. Tristan might be insisting that he is no longer part of the bureau, but that doesn’t seem to be true. Previously on GH, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) checked up on Tristan at the hospital. This led to Tristan asking to be left alone… until he had something to report. Brennan responded that Tristan didn’t get to dictate the terms of their arrangement.
Clearly, Tristan isn’t as out of the WSB as he claims to be.
Then, there’s Josslyn, an established WSB agent, regardless of what her mother wants. Anna has already sought Joss out since her return to Port Charles. Anna thought Joss could help her reconstruct what happened during her captivity.
Now, these new General Hospital spoilers reveal that Anna is the one who introduces Tristan to Josslyn. Almost certainly, this is going to revolve around how they’re all affected by the WSB.
General Hospital Spoilers: What Could Anna’s Tristan Introduction Mean to Josslyn?
This official spoiler is vague, but it could be hinting that we’re about to learn a whole lot more about what Tristan is really up to. Though he has insisted that he’s not an agent, his previous work with the WSB cannot be ignored. Plus, his role escorting Jason home — as well as Brennan’s expectation about upcoming reports — hint that there’s a mystery surrounding Tristan.
These new General Hospital spoilers could be hinting that Josslyn could be the one to help shed light on all of this mystery. Could the two end up working alongside each other within the WSB?
Regardless of how this all plays out, we might be seeing more of a Tristan Roberts-Josslyn Jacks pairing in the near future. After all, Geyer revealed that he had chemistry reads with McCoy prior to officially booking the role. Though this doesn’t mean a romance is headed in Tristan and Josslyn’s way, it does signify that the two will be appearing on the screen quite a lot with each other.
So, could we be watching the start of something new?
