In the Peacock soap’s weekly promo video, EJ asks his son what he’s being accused of. Johnny briskly tells his father he already knows. What will this father-son confrontation lead to? Will Johnny make EJ fess up to everything he has done to Holly?
Holly’s Medical Crisis Tears Johnny & EJ Apart
Johnny and EJ once again found themselves at odds in the past few weeks. This time, it all had to do with Holly Jonas. Holly’s most recent medical crisis — and she’s had a bit this year, hasn’t she? — began after Coriseal ended up in her system.
Holly has sworn that she has never taken the drug. The trail eventually led to a contaminated DiMera Pharmaceuticals batch that happened to be buried on Smith Island… the very island where Holly had recently been.
We didn’t need to read any Days of Our Lives spoilers to know that EJ would try to be one step ahead of this whole scandal. EJ knew all about the company’s old disposal scheme. He knew that Holly’s poisoning would eventually lead back to the family company.
Luckily, Holly didn’t die. Johnny left a medical book open to arsenic in Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) office, which eventually steered her toward correctly recognizing what was wrong with Holly and then treating her accurately.
Now, EJ is struggling to keep everything afloat… and, in doing so, ruining Holly’s reputation. He ended up planting pills in Holly’s bag, which gave Tate Black (Leo Howard) the proof he needed that Holly had taken drugs.
Tate ended up taking this evidence to Sarah. Now, all of Holly’s denials carry much less weight. EJ has successfully ruined Holly in the eyes of many. But will he get away with it?
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Johnny Knows the Truth — and Wants Answers From EJ
So far, EJ hasn’t confessed the full truth of what he has done — or why he’s done it. It’s not like we’re going to get an EJ DiMera confession anytime soon. However, once Johnny confronts him and has it out with him, what will EJ say? Will he explain everything to his son about how he’s trying to save the family?
Johnny is in a complicated position, of course. He already knows that DiMera is responsible for Holly’s poisoning — and that EJ was making moves to keep it all a secret. Johnny already helped EJ save Holly with their little arsenic clue. However, now Johnny is about to learn that EJ framed Holly. Where will Johnny’s family loyalty end?
EJ is very close to losing Johnny’s trust, according to these new Days of Our Lives spoilers… if he hasn’t completely lost it already. After all, Johnny now believes that EJ and DiMera are responsible for his wife’s cancer.
Johnny could very well take all this information he knows to Sarah, Holly, or Salem detectives. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) would certainly love to hear this information. If so, then EJ won’t just lose his son… he could end up behind bars for his many criminal actions.
