Days of Our Lives spoilers confirm that Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) is headed for a frightening medical crisis when her labor takes a dangerous turn on Friday, August 21, 2026. Could Chanel find herself — or her unborn child — in immediate danger?
Unfortunately, the worst could be about to happen, as Chanel will soon exit Salem. But will she leave town by her own free will… or is DAYS about to kill her off?
Chanel’s High-Risk Pregnancy Complicates Labor
For months now, Chanel has faced many medical complications on DOOL. Though Chanel and her husband, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), entered this year knowing that her pregnancy could carry serious medical risks, they both chose to be positive. Johnny, however, has always been worried that this high-risk pregnancy could put both his wife and his baby in danger.
In early summer, this situation became more serious. Chanel learned that she had rapidly progressing breast cancer. By the end of June, she had begun chemotherapy, and Johnny has been by her side every step of the way.
Now, we’re faced with these new Days of Our Lives spoilers which hint that Chanel and her baby are nowhere near out of the woods yet. On Monday, August 17, 2026, Chanel went into labor earlier than expected. Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) was especially worried about this, as Chanel went into labor before the planned three-week gap between the end of her chemotherapy and her planned delivery.
Once they were at the hospital, things didn’t get better. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) found that Chanel’s blood count was low and ended up ordering a transfusion.
So, things are already rather tense with Chanel’s labor. By Friday, it appears Chanel and her family are in a full-blown crisis.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Chanel Faces a Medical Crisis
Though these spoilers don’t indicate what the outcome of Chanel’s labor is, it’s clear that she’s in for a difficult journey. She’s not the only one. On that very day, it’s heavily hinted that Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) may die, yet again. Meanwhile, Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) remember their premature son they lost in 2018.
As a result of all of these storylines appearing on Friday, official Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Salem will experience “the circle of life.” This could hint that Chanel and Johnny’s baby will be okay… but what about Chanel?
It’s not clear how this will all play out yet. However, it is clear that it will be a difficult time for Chanel and her family. Plus, we can’t ignore the fact that Chanel and Johnny are both set to exit the show sometime soon. Therefore, this storyline could play out in any way. Anything could happen, for better or for worse.
