Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will reassure Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) with a heartfelt promise about where his loyalties lie on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

Finn is going to be clear: his wife and their children come first. This promise comes amid Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) return and her latest campaign for access to her son and grandchildren. Sheila’s return is already stressing Steffy out and putting major pressure on the Finnegan marriage.

Will Finn’s words truly reassure his wife that she has nothing to worry about?

Sheila’s Back and Causing Drama

Recently on B&B, Sheila pleaded with her son, Finn, for another chance after she gave Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) the divorce he desperately wanted — and all without causing too much of a stir. Sheila wants Finn to convince Steffy to allow her back into their family.

While Finn admitted that he loved his biological mother and said he would speak to Steffy, he also acknowledged all the harm Sheila has done to them in the past. He also pointed out that just supporting Sheila could damage his marriage to Steffy. 

Meanwhile, as previous Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hinted at, Steffy told her father, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), that she was fearful that Finn might eventually cave to Sheila. Obviously, that is the last thing Steffy wants.

Then, rather suddenly, Finn reversed course. He told Sheila that there was no future where she would be a part of his family. Now, these new spoilers seem to confirm that Finn truly is putting Steffy and their children first, regardless of what Sheila wants.

These new spoilers confirm that Finn will promise Steffy that he will always put her and her family first — and that she doesn’t have to worry about Sheila trying to come back into their lives.

However, while it appears that Finn is heartfelt and truthful in his promise, that doesn’t mean that the Sheila problem will actually be settled. This is Sheila Carter we’re talking about, after all. She’s not just going to give up.

As a result, it’s clear that Finn’s loyalty to Steffy will be tested. Steffy may continue to challenge Finn and his devotion, especially as Finn can’t help but admit that he loves his mother. Will Steffy and Finn manage to work everything out? Or will Sheila somehow ruin their marriage?
