Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) shares a new theory with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. This latest theory comes right after Xander realized that Holly Jonas’s (Ashley Puzemis) bag may explain how those Coriseal pills got into her belongings.
Could this mean that Xander has found the missing link between Holly’s apparent relapse… and EJ DiMera’s (Daniel Feuerriegel) cover-up?
Xander Investigates Holly’s Poisoning
Recently on DOOL, Sarah and Brady have been doing their best to investigate deaths connected to Coriseal, a DiMera Pharmaceuticals drug. However, Holly’s latest arsenic poisoning brought their investigation close to home — and Holly almost died.
After test results were conducted on Holly, it was thought that she took drugs willingly. However, Holly denied taking drugs… even though pills were found in her bag. This newfound evidence made Holly look like she was lying — and incredibly guilty — but we all know that this evidence was planted by EJ.
Now, it looks like these new Days of Our Lives spoilers are hinting that Xander is on to what EJ is up to. Xander has long been suspicious of EJ. Recently, he argued that these discarded pills could have contaminated the well near the Horton cabin.
While Xander has yet to officially find evidence that EJ planted those pills on Holly, he does remember leaving the hospital bag unattended at the nurses’ station. Remembering this could be the key to realizing that Holly was set up.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander Shares Theory With Sarah & Brady
Clearly, Xander is on the case. He won’t rest until he figures out what, exactly, is going on. Xander will likely believe that someone used the unattended bag to then plant those pills and frame Holly. As a result, he’ll derail the Coriseal investigation. If he indeed does this and shares this idea with Sarah and Brady, then the investigation will take a new turn.
Of course, now they need to identify who handled the bag… and somehow tie it all back to EJ. New Days of Our Lives spoilers have also hinted that Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman) knows that his father crossed the line and is furious about what he has done to Holly. Could Johnny, in any way, support this trio in their investigation?
Xander’s theory could clear Holly, while also directing the investigation back to the person to blame: EJ. That could put all of them in danger.
