General Hospital spoilers hint that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) asserts his power on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Though the spoiler doesn’t go in depth on why we may see Michael make a bold move, this spoiler does come at a rather dramatic moment in Michael’s life.
After all, he is continuing to expand his influence at Deception… and he’s also continuing to try to take down his ex-wife, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). As Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is now up, walking and talking, and going after Willow, could this spoiler hint that Michael is about to take Willow down for all her crimes, once and for all?
Michael’s Latest Moves
Recently on GH, Michael gained a major advantage in the corporate world when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) sold him her shares in Deception before she left Port Charles. Everyone — including Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) — was stunned by this deal.
Now, Michael has a fresh foothold in Deception as it’s facing major upheaval. Michael is a Quartermaine, so he’s likely going to do what he wants, when he wants.
Meanwhile, Michael’s personal life has also been full of drama. Michael and his girlfriend, Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell), have been working to try to engineer encounters between Willow and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). As previous General Hospital spoilers hinted at, Michael believes that old feelings between the two could end up wrecking Chase’s marriage — and further damage Willow’s reputation.
Willow, of course, has had a rather difficult last two weeks. Thanks to her many crimes, Willow has recently tried to flee Port Charles with her and Michael’s children — something Michael surely won’t love to hear — before Chase arrived to bring her down to the PCPD for questioning about her ties to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Makes a Power Play
Clearly, this official spoiler is vague. That means that it could be hinting at just about everything. However, this spoiler could be hinting that Michael is about to make a business power play — which wouldn’t be out of character at all, would it?
Now that he has Maxie’s Deception shares, he could be a part of a huge corporate shakeup and even challenge the company’s existing leadership. He could also plan to use his stake as leverage in a larger Quartermaine play. Is Michael about to become a major Deception power broker?
Of course, we also can’t ignore the Willow of it all. Previous General Hospital spoilers confirmed that Jacinda was confused by Michael. Could she be questioning his fixation on Willow and wanting to take her down?
Drew is now awake and talking — and going after Willow — so that definitely changes things, too. Despite all that has happened between Willow and Michael, it’s not like Michael loves his uncle. So… could Michael asserting his power have anything to do with Drew?
