Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) gives Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) the third degree on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. This latest confrontation between the two enemies comes right after Billy learned that his fiancée, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), gave Newman Media back to Adam.
Of course, there’s been major drama between all involved in this deal for various reasons. Sally didn’t get the chance to tell Billy about the Newman Media transfer — even though she knew she should have, as he gave her the company as a gift. She, meanwhile, gave it back to his worst enemy.
Billy only learned about the transfer from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who has her own questions about how Adam got the deal when her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), couldn’t.
Billy knows that Sally isn’t telling him everything. So, it looks like he’s tracking down Adam to figure out what kind of pressure he placed on Sally to get this deal.
Billy Seeks Out Adam For the Truth
Recently on Y&R, Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) devised a solution to get Newman Media back for Victor — without him going after Spectra-Charles. Adam, for many reasons, didn’t want to see his pregnant ex-girlfriend go through the stress of his father going after her.
So, as previous Young and the Restless spoilers confirmed, Adam privately bought Newman Media from Sally and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). He then returned it to the family. This secret deal allowed Sally and Audra to receive compensation — while Victor believed that Adam had forced the women to surrender.
However, Victor and Victoria have already questioned Adam and Chelsea’s moves. They don’t know why Sally and Audra just handed the company over to them. Victoria is intent on investigating matters.
Meanwhile, Sally delayed telling Billy what was going on, as he’s had major drama with his mother recently. Once Billy and Sally had it out, Billy exploded and said he was going to get Newman Media back no matter what, even though Sally urged him to just drop it.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy Interrogates Adam
So far, Billy doesn’t know that Adam paid Sally for the company. Sally is worried that if she tells Billy, he won’t keep it a secret — and it needs to stay secret. These new spoilers reveal that Billy interrogates Adam, as he clearly thinks he pressured a pregnant Sally into just giving up the company.
However, Billy’s interrogation of Adam could ruin everything for Adam and Chelsea. Adam needs Billy to just accept the intimidation story, as the truth wouldn’t make Victor too happy. After all, if Billy learns the truth, he could either expose Adam’s deception to Victor himself — or use this information as leverage.
Obviously, Sally has found herself in a difficult position. Though Young and the Restless spoilers confirm that Billy isn’t mad at Sally, he is furious about the whole situation. Billy is currently directing his anger at Adam.
Adam also has clearly wanted to protect Sally in this entire situation. That isn’t likely to change, even after Billy reads him the riot act. So… could we see some drama explode between these three, especially if Billy learns that Sally and Adam have a secret they’re sharing and not telling him?
