Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) - Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) - Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)

Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) holds Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) accountable for reclaiming Newman Media — completely behind his back. This will occur on Monday, July 27, 2026.

Victor may have gotten the result he wanted, yet he seems unwilling to simply accept Adam and Chelsea’s deal. Instead, he’s going to question their secretive method of reclaiming the company.

Adam and Chelsea may claim that they’ve pressured Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) into completely surrendering the company to them. However, we all know that they’ve offered up some money to Audra and Sally to see this deal go through.

Just how long will it take Victor to figure out what really happened?

Adam and Chelsea Try to Trick Victor

Recently on Y&R, Victor decided to target Spectra-Charles in his efforts to bring Newman Media back under Newman family control. In an effort to help Sally, his ex-girlfriend who is currently pregnant with Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) child, Adam offered to buy the division from Sally — all without consulting Chelsea or Victor.

As previous Young and the Restless spoilers confirmed, Chelsea wasn’t too happy with Adam’s moves. She objected to his making this offer alone — and how he seemed to be underestimating Victor’s reaction.

However, Sally and Audra ended up finally accepting the deal, as they saw that selling to Adam and getting financial compensation was much better than an all-out war with Victor Newman.

That led to Adam and Chelsea presenting the acquisition as a victory to Victor. Unsurprisingly, it appeared that Victor had some questions about the entire situation. This resulted in him summoning his daughter, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and demanding details on how Adam succeeded where his own plan failed.

Adam and Chelsea’s story has not survived Victor and Victoria’s basic scrutiny. They know they’re hiding something. And now, it appears Victor is going to find out.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Another Newman War?

It looks like we’re in for some drama between the Newmans… yet again. The immediate problem facing the powerful family is the undisclosed payment Adam gave to Sally and Audra to get back Newman Media.

Adam and Chelsea have long feared that Victor would object to this compensation, as he believes the company had already belonged to him… so why would he pay them off?

Now, could Victor find Adam and Chelsea’s deception worse than their acquisition? After all, this is Victor Newman we’re talking about. He values a particular kind of loyalty… and Adam is trying to deceive his father, which Victor may feel goes against the loyalty he wants from his often wayward son.

Young and the Restless spoilers hint that the fallout may continue to widen. Victoria has plans to investigate. Meanwhile, Billy doesn’t even know about this transfer, as Sally hasn’t told him. So, as Victor is investigating the deal from inside the Newman family, Billy might challenge it from the outside — and that could lead to a great amount of drama.

Eventually, the secretive terms of this deal are going to come out. If Victoria finds out the truth first, then Adam and Chelsea could lose Victor’s trust. Could Victor’s possible distrust of Adam push his son back toward the Newman power struggle they all claim is behind them?

If so, it looks like we might be in for another Newman family war…
