General Hospital spoilers confirm that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) reconnect on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Two survivors of Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) WSB operation will be back in the same room — but neither has fully recovered.
Will Jason give Anna some of the information she’s looking for about Cullum’s initial shooting? The shooting he went down for, when in reality, it was really Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) who shot the WSB agent?
Jason and Anna Are Finally Back in Port Charles
Jason and Anna have individually had a long road back to Port Charles. For months, Ross Cullum imprisoned and psychologically manipulated Anna, using her traumatic history with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) to further destabilize her.
After Anna escaped, she was first institutionalized in France before she was finally able to be released and return to Port Charles. However, Anna is better. Though she’s trying her best to move on from all that she has endured at the hands of Cullum, she is still seeing Peter August (Wes Ramsey). And that’s never good, is it?
As previous General Hospital spoilers revealed, Jason is back home after taking the fall for Rocco for the shooting of Cullum. Rocco shot Cullum while defending Jason. The WSB arrested Jason and held him at a black site in Jakarta for months. It was only when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) negotiated his release that he was able to return home.
Right when Jason returned to Port Charles earlier this month, he mainly focused on reuniting with his son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn). However, recently he reunited with his love, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) — and now, it looks like he’ll be able to reunite with Anna, someone he has always been able to trust.
Let’s also remember that — whether fans like it or not — Anna and Jason have a close connection with unresolved history. The duo has always worked effectively together against many dangerous enemies, and back in 2024 they even shared a kiss when they were trapped by none other than Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)!
Though a romance never fully developed between them, the two’s trust in each other has never wavered. So, when Jason first sees Anna, will he see just how much Cullum psychologically damaged her?
General Hospital Spoilers: Jason & Anna Reconnect After WSB Trauma
It’s clear that both Jason and Anna are trying to put their WSB trauma behind them. Obviously, that’s easier said than done, and the two might have a rough road ahead.
Could Jason notice that Anna is not herself? If anyone will be able to see through Anna’s facade, it’ll be him. After all, he understands captivity and torture more than anyone — especially after his latest WSB arrest.
Though these new General Hospital spoilers don’t indicate that Anna will tell him about how she’s seeing Peter, Jason could recognize that something is seriously wrong with her. Eventually, this could lead her to feel safe enough to confess.
It’s also worth noting that, on Friday, Anna is reportedly gobsmacked. Could this indicate that Jason is about to fill her in on the Cullum shooting… and how Rocco is the one who is actually responsible?
