Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso) isn’t making Jacob Hawthorne’s (Jibre Hordges) life easy by any means.
The two haven’t always seen eye to eye, and it appears that things get worse between the two in the near future. Jacob, of course, is trying to find out who Grayson works for. Who is the person — the woman, he now knows — that’s telling Grayson what to do? Jacob also wants to change the location of the drop, something that Grayson is more than a little worried about.
Now, it appears that Grayson continues to push back on Jacob, possibly because he’s worried for his life. Official Beyond the Gates spoilers reveal that Grayson stonewalls a frustrated Jacob.
Clearly, Jacob wants this undercover operation to take down the hospital’s illegal plasma harvesting right over. He misses his wife and just wants to be done with it all. But as long as Grayson is there to keep stonewalling him, this operation will only continue to be prolonged.
Jacob Hits Another Roadblock on BTG
Jacob has been frustrated for a bit now on BTG. He can’t get Grayson to trust him fully, and though he now knows that a woman working at the hospital is calling the shots, he can’t figure out who this person is.
Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, Bradley ‘Smitty’ Smith (Mike Manning) is also working with Jacob to expose this ring. Smitty, an investigative reporter, recently told Jacob that he would go into the hospital and try to figure out who this woman is. While people may recognize Jacob, they might not pay attention to Smitty.
Though Jacob warned Smitty that this was a bad idea, he eventually relented — though not without telling him not to do anything stupid. It appears this warning was in vain, as recent Beyond the Gates spoilers confirm that Smitty commits a crime!
Jacob will likely have to deal with that. He’ll also have to deal with Grayson continuing to Stonewall him. Will the undercover cop ever figure out this case? Or will he be stuck working this beat — and away from his wife Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit), whom he desperately misses — for quite a while?
