Previously on DOOL, Abe’s son Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) learned from EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) that Lexie was alive. EJ took Theo to see his mother, and Theo was beside himself with shock and happiness.
However, Lexie’s return to the land of the living — something that technically hasn’t even happened yet, as she hasn’t woken up — has already impacted many lives, especially Theo’s. After speaking with EJ and remembering how much his mother didn’t like the family business, Theo realized he couldn’t return to be the CEO of DiMera Enterprises. Now, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will likely stay at DiMera to be CEO.
Now, Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Lexie’s return will also impact Abe and Paulina’s marriage. How could it not? Lexie has always been the love of Abe’s life, even years after she died. To have her return is a real miracle.
