General Hospital spoilers hint that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) has some bad news on Friday, July 24, 2026. Unfortunately, it looks like things aren’t going according to plan for Mr. Brennan. 

This latest spoiler comes right when Brennan is in the thick of quite a lot of drama. For one, his alliance with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to take down Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has hit a snag. For another, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is back and leading a new investigation into Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting.

So, what could this bad news be about…?

Brennan’s In a Whole Lot of Drama

Recently on GH, Brennan has found himself in a whole lot of drama, which isn’t really a surprise since when has he not been involved in a massive amount of drama? At the moment, he has teamed up with Nina. The duo is working to recover a black box that is said to contain evidence they can use against Drew.

They need this evidence, as Drew will soon wake up — and they don’t want him to ruin Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) life, which he will certainly do when he reveals that she’s the one who incapacitated him.

Of course, Brennan’s relationship with Nina has also changed recently, as previous General Hospital spoilers confirmed it would. The two’s partnership has become much more personal after they slept together. Though they both are trying to focus on finding the black box, it’s clear there’s some level of emotion there.

Unfortunately for them, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has the black box. Valentin — who, let’s remember, hates Brennan — believes this box will give him major leverage over Brennan. He wants to exchange it for all of his frozen assets. 

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) very accurately pointed out that this was a dangerous move for Valentin to make. After all, what would stop Brennan from just killing Valentin after getting the black box?

Furthermore, Brennan is also working to keep Anna from learning the truth about Cullum’s shooting. General Hospital spoilers previously revealed that Brennan assured Anna that Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) did not shoot Cullum… but that the real shooter was classified.

Anna, of course, wants to know the truth behind the shooting because of everything that Cullum and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) did to her. But what will she do when she learns that Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) was the real shooter?

Finally, the Drew Cain of it all is hanging over Brennan, Nina, and Willow. It looks like Drew’s recovering rather well… and may soon be up, moving, and speaking.

General Hospital Spoilers: Who Does Brennan Deliver Bad News To?

So far, there’s no hint at who Brennan delivers this bad news to. It looks like Nina could be the strongest potential recipient — but that doesn’t mean she will be. 

Let’s say these spoilers are hinting that Brennan cannot get the black box. What if Valentin’s price is too unacceptable? If so, then Nina’s plan to keep Drew quiet completely collapses — and now, Drew has the ability to expose what she and Willow have done to him.

Of course, these General Hospital rumors could be hinting at Anna, too. If Anna continues digging into Cullum’s shooting, Brennan could deliver the bad news to her. 

Regardless of who gets the bad news, it’s clear that Brennan is in some major drama this Friday. Will everything work out according to his plan?
