Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) might just find himself in a mess of his own making during his current attempt to take down Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Another Abbott-Newman war is among us. After Victor kidnapped Jack and put him on a boat with none other than crazy Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), Jack has sought revenge. After all, Victor’s little scheme resulted in Jack ending up in bed with Patty — something that his wife, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), was none too happy about.
Jack and Diane are currently on the outs, and it doesn’t look as if Diane will be ready to forgive Jack anytime soon. Jack has finally come to terms with this. As a result, he’s ready to attack Victor where it will hurt most — by making sure Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) leaves him, once and for all.
Unfortunately for Jack, he also had the bright idea to get Patty over on his side. It looks like that might blow up in his face. Official Young and the Restless spoilers confirm that Jack makes a bad decision on Friday, May 22, 2026. Does this have anything to do with his recent conversation with Patty? We think so!

Jack Needs to Stay Away From Patty on Y&R
Patty has always been obsessed with Jack. Now that she’s out of the mental institution she’s been locked up in for the past many years, it doesn’t look like her unrequited love for Jack has lessened any. While Jack thinks he can use her to his advantage, he should know better than to trust Patty in any way, shape, or form.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) told Jack as such, but the elder Abbott didn’t care to listen. Now, it appears he might, especially if his little plan to have Victor lose Nikki ends up going south — and all because of Patty.
Young and the Restless spoilers have also confirmed that Jack rethinks his plan with Patty. Could this be because he realizes Patty can’t be trusted? Patty is, after all, going out of her way to help out the other villain in Genoa City, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
If Patty listens to Jack and decides to do her own thing to help him out, could this mean Nikki might end up in danger? After all, Jack himself told her he wanted to go after Victor and ensure he gets hurt. He doesn’t want Nikki to be with him any longer.
If Patty decides to take matters into her own hands, this could quickly become a very dangerous situation. Obviously, Jack will be beside himself with worry and grief if anything were indeed to happen to Nikki. So, just what does Patty have in mind…? And how could Matt Clark be involved with all of this?
