General Hospital spoilers hint that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has a bit of a startling moment this week. Perhaps this has something to do with Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) rather interesting visit with his ex-wife, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)?
Carly and Valentin are hooking up, even though Carly is still with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). Though they recently agreed to end their little relationship, it doesn’t look like that will stick, as the two have major chemistry — and Carly even admitted to her brother that she really likes Valentin.
Valentin has admitted he’s jealous when Carly is with Brennan. So, why wouldn’t Carly be a little jealous when Valentin goes to visit Nina… especially considering that, by visiting his ex-wife and making a deal with her, Valentin put himself in major danger of being caught?

In the promo video, it appears that Carly is speaking with Valentin about his visit to Nina. Therefore, it appears that the startlement Carly deals with has everything to do with Valentin, the fugitive she knows she shouldn’t want but desperately does…
Carly & Valentin’s Romance Continues on GH
Though Carly and Valentin both decided to cool off their romance, there’s no indication that this will actually happen. Carly doesn’t want it to, even though she might not confess this to Valentin. Plus, she and Valentin are working together to bring down Brennan and the WSB.
Furthermore, Valentin has met with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and has agreed to keep her safe from Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), who is beyond dangerous. Joss knows he’s a double agent and confessed this truth to Valentin. Now, Valentin has used this information to try to help Nina get out of Brennan’s blackmail.
All of this may be what startles Carly, according to these General Hospital spoilers. She has already been beyond worried about Joss and wasn’t too thrilled to hear all of what Joss has been doing recently. However, Valentin said he’d protect Joss — and Carly appears to believe him.
So, will Carly feel jealous about Valentin and Nina, similarly to how Valentin was jealous of her and Brennan? Or is Carly mainly just furious that Valentin continues to make these risky moves when he could be found out and arrested at any moment?
It’ll be interesting to see how this storyline plays out, to say the least. Valentin has something up his sleeve, and he’s working with Nina to both protect Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Joss. Will his plan work? Or will it all blow up in his face?
