Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) launches a matchmaking scheme that leaves Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) trapped together.
It looks like Philip has taken matters into his own hands and forced the estranged Sarah and Xander into the same space. Avoidance between the fan-favorite couple is now impossible.
So… could Philip successfully get Xarah back together?
Sarah and Xander’s Long Romantic History
Ever since romance blossomed between Sarah and Xander, they’ve had a rocky relationship history. Their last breakup wasn’t caused by some minor misunderstanding. Not at all! Sarah ended their marriage after Xander brutally attacked Philip, leaving him comatose. Sarah couldn’t excuse this violence, and their marriage quickly collapsed after Xander’s actions.
While this violent episode destroyed the trust and safety that Sarah needed from Xander, it didn’t erase the love she has for him. Though she can be very angry with him, and though she can do her best to try to move on, her heart continues to return to Xander.
As previous Days of Our Lives spoilers have confirmed, Sarah has tried to move on with her new love, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Xander has tried to move on, as well… though he has definitely struggled without Sarah by his side.
Though the two have ended their romance, they’ve never been out of each other’s lives for too long. After all, they do share a child. They’ve continued to cross into each other’s orbit, especially recently during Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) medical crisis.
Despite everything that has happened, Sarah still turns to Xander for help when it’s needed. Xander, meanwhile, has made it no secret that Sarah is the love of his life — and that he’s trying to be the best version of himself for her and their daughter.
These latest Days of Our Lives spoilers are very interesting, as it makes Philip an unusual matchmaker. Philip and Xander have their own issues — and their own rocky past — yet clearly he’s trying to put Xander and Sarah back together. Clearly, Philip sees that their relationship is unfinished.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander & Sarah + Forced Proximity
Is the Peacock soap opera about to bring Sarah and Xander back together… finally? Looks like it could be headed that way! Though Sarah clearly wants to move on with Brady, the heart does want what it wants. Could Philip locking them together in a room bring about a reunion?
Forced proximity could lead to this duo being forced to spend time together — and perhaps talking about things they’d rather avoid. Could the two truly work through why their relationship ended in the first place? Could Sarah admit that she’ll always love him, but that his actions made her feel unsafe? Or could Xander prove to her that he will always work to be better?
Victoria, their daughter, will always give these two a permanent reason to remain in each other’s lives. Unfortunately, Xander and Sarah are known to butt heads. Philip’s little stunt could bring them together… or they could become annoyed, and this whole thing could make their coparenting situation even more difficult.
After all, Xander could further resent Philip for this, as he could feel cornered. Sarah could also become upset, feeling that she’s being manipulated. Anything could happen with these three!
Though these new Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that things might not become too terrible after Philip’s matchmaking, this doesn’t mean that an Xarah reunion is upcoming. However, signs are pointing to something happening that makes Sarah rethink her feelings for her ex.
