General Hospital spoilers hint that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) might be the first person to realize that something is amiss with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). In fact, Liz is intent on helping Drew… which leads her to surprise Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) in the process.
Recently on GH, Liz went over to Drew and Willow’s to check up on the almost comatose patient. While Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) left her alone with Drew, Liz realized that Drew was trying to communicate while blinking repeatedly.
Liz was, obviously, very excited to see that Drew was trying to communicate. However, that’s the last thing Willow and Nina want — as then, Drew might be able to tell Liz that Willow is drugging him to keep him in this condition.
Now, it appears we’ll see Liz push to help Drew. Official General Hospital spoilers confirm that on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, Liz puts Willow on the spot. Could Liz recommend different ways that Willow could communicate with Drew… and then be shocked when Willow refuses to do any of these suggestions?
Liz Wants to Help Drew on GH
Willow will certainly be shocked when Liz pushes to help Drew communicate. After all, the last thing Willow needs is Drew telling Liz — or anyone else — that she’s drugging him or that she was the one to shoot him. Willow has quite a lot to lose, and she may continue to feel the walls closing in on her.
If Willow refuses to follow the methods that Liz suggests to help Drew communicate, will Liz begin to suspect that not all is as it seems? Liz is a professional nurse who’s simply trying to help. If she feels something is wrong, she could push even more — and learn the truth about what Willow is doing to Drew.
Eventually, Drew is going to get out of this state that he’s in. Though no new General Hospital spoilers hint that Drew will communicate anytime soon, it’s a given that he’ll eventually be able to break free from the hold Willow has him in. Will Liz be the one to save him, at the end of the day?
Willow is a loose cannon at the moment, so Liz questioning her about helping Drew communicate might not go over too well. Though Nina is doing her best to keep her daughter in line, Willow is trying to keep the truth that she shot Drew from coming out, while also desperately wanting to go after Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell).
Could Liz’s push for Drew to communicate put her in danger? After all, Willow has proven that she’ll do anything to remain in control of Drew, and in her children’s lives…
