Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), after her brutal kidnapping by Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey), can’t seem to stop seeking out comfort from none other than Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark), her abusive ex-boyfriend.
Unfortunately, Stephanie just can’t seem to get on the same page as her husband, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). The two have done nothing but fight since she left the hospital. Alex feels like he’s doing everything wrong, even though he’s simply trying to help his wife.
Stephanie, meanwhile, finds herself lashing out at every move Alex makes. Stephanie feels like she can’t fully open up to her husband. However, she doesn’t seem to have this problem with Jeremy, who was kidnapped alongside her.
Official Days of Our Lives spoilers confirm that on Monday, April 20, 2026, Stephanie continues to lean on Jeremy for support. She feels like Jeremy gets what she’s feeling, as he also went through this trauma. However, will Alex understand this? Or will he continue to feel as if Stephanie is seeking out Jeremy for help… and avoiding him?
Stephanie Turns to Jeremy on DOOL
Stephanie’s decision to turn to Jeremy for comfort is an interesting one, to say the least. After all, this man is her abusive ex-boyfriend. When he first came back to Salem, she was shocked and nervous to see him — and accused him of being her stalker, even though Owen was really the one responsible for all of her trauma.
Now, however, Stephanie appears to have made amends with Jeremy, to some extent. Jeremy has gone a long way in turning his life around and seems like a completely different person than he once was. As a result of all of this, Stephanie and Jeremy continue to connect.
These new Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that we might see them bond even more. However, Jeremy will soon leave Salem, as Michael Roark is set to exit the soap opera later this month. Therefore, it appears that this bond may not continue for much longer.
But that doesn’t mean that Stephanie and Alex are out of the woods yet. After all, Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) is set to return to town this week. Last time we saw Joy, she was pregnant with Alex’s baby! Her arrival when Stephanie is still trying to come to terms with her trauma — and right after she told Alex she didn’t know if she would ever want kids now — will bring drama, indeed.
Once Jeremy is gone, will Stephanie be able to work things through with Alex? When Joy arrives, will they be okay? Or will Joy’s arrival ruin their marriage?
