Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) doesn’t completely trust Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) — and that isn’t really a great surprise, is it?
Sharon hasn’t trusted Sienna fully for a while now, though she’s tried her best to be supportive of her son, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), and his relationship. Noah loves Sienna, and Sharon has realized that, for now, she’s just going to have to deal with it.
However, it appears that things have changed now that Sienna has claimed that she has killed Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Though Sienna was with Matt and tried to convince him not to blow up the gas station that Sharon, Noah, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) were in, Matt didn’t listen and instead blew the entire area up.
However, Sienna somehow got away from Matt… and is now saying that she killed him. Sharon is worried that Sienna might not be fully telling the truth. Official Young and the Restless spoilers confirm that on Friday, May 1, 2026, Sharon questions Sienna’s loyalty. Could Sharon realize that there’s more to the story than what Sienna is admitting? Is Matt Clark really dead?
Sharon Questions Sienna on Y&R
Sharon and Sienna have had their moments, to say the least. Sharon simply wants the best for her son, Noah, and she’s not convinced that Sienna is the one. However, when Matt Clark threatened them all, Sharon and Sienna were able to put aside their differences and unite for the family.
Now, that little trust appears to be breaking. After all, why would Sharon trust Sienna when she has such a long history with Matt? The last time Y&R viewers saw Sienna, she was trying to convince Matt not to hurt everyone by giving herself up in the process. Could Sienna have agreed to a plan with Matt, for whatever reason?
Though these Young and the Restless spoilers don’t clarify anything about Matt Clark’s current state of living, it’s almost certain that he’s still alive. There’s no way the soap opera would kill him off-screen. So, the Newmans definitely have another round versus Matt in the near future.
If Sienna is indeed lying, why? Why would she take Matt’s side after all this time? Or is there more to the story about what actually happened between her and Matt? After all, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) called Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) when everything went south. Victor was able to send a team to rescue everyone — and had people out there looking for Sienna.
Maybe Victor helped Sienna and kidnapped Matt in the process? This wouldn’t be the first time Victor did something like this. Remember when he told everyone that Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenck) had died, but in reality, he had her locked up in his wine cellar? Could the same thing be happening here?
Or is Sienna up to something more sinister? Will Sharon be the one to find her out?
