Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) attempts to strike a deal with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as the fallout from their Newman Media transaction intensifies. The exes are now fully back in each other’s orbits… and we can’t help but wonder if that’s really a good thing. For fans of Adam/Sally, it is, of course!
Though the terms of Sally’s proposal have yet to be disclosed, and though we don’t yet know if Adam accepts her deal, we do know that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) now knows that his son paid Sally and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) for Newman Media. Meanwhile, Sally believes that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may have reopened Victor’s war against Spectra-Charles.
Will Adam save Sally, yet again?
Sally & Adam’s Secret Deal
Sally and Adam’s latest storyline on Y&R began when they tried to prevent Victor from going after Spectra-Charles, as Sally and Audra’s company was built from Newman Media. At first, Sally wanted to reverse Newman Media’s merger into Spectra-Charles and sell Victor the media division back to him. However, Victor fully rejected this solution. He didn’t believe he should have to pay for something he considered his.
This then led to Adam trying to secretly work out a solution. He offered to purchase Newman Media from Sally and Audra in secret. Adam’s goal was to compensate Spectra-Charles, yet allow Victor to believe Newman Media had been successfully reclaimed without payment.
As previous Young and the Restless spoilers pointed out, there was no way Victor was just going to believe what Adam was trying to sell. Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) told Victor and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that Sally and Audra had surrendered easily — and all to avoid Victor’s retaliation.
After Victoria was the one to tell Billy about the deal, Billy then confessed all about Adam and Sally’s deal to Victor when the elder gentleman provoked him. Now, it appears that Billy may have put her and her company on Victor’s warpath.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: What Does Sally Want From Adam?
Now, after Billy’s disastrous decision to tell Victor everything, Sally has found herself more than a little unhappy. How are she and Adam going to get out of this one?
Clearly, Sally wants to try to fix things with Adam by her side, according to these new Young and the Restless spoilers. That alone is rather interesting, especially considering their past. Could her request to Adam involve protection for Spectra-Charles? Will she find a way to keep herself and her company safe from Victor’s wrath?
Of course, this all comes after Adam admitted that he didn’t know if he would be able to continue protecting Sally now that Victor knows the truth about the payment. Sally is trying to find a way to calm everything and everyone down.
It’s impossible to ignore the duo’s past when considering how this storyline may play out. After all, Adam recently acknowledged that he only made the original deal in order to protect her. The two have a history. Not a great one, but one nonetheless. Could the fact that they are back in each other’s orbits hint that we might be slowly heading back to an Adam/Sally reunion… especially after Billy’s latest blunder?
Of course, Sally is currently pregnant with Billy’s child and looking to marry him. But hey, this is a soap opera. Anything could happen!
