Beyond the Gates spoilers reveal that Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) will suss out Joey Armstrong’s (Jon Lindstrom) sister, Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones), on Monday, July 27, 2026.
Heather is back in town — and clearly ready to start some drama. Vanessa is finally about to identify the mystery woman who very deliberately wouldn’t explain herself, or who she was, when Vanessa found her waiting inside Joey’s private poker room.
Of course, we all know that Heather is no good, as she’s the secret Impaler who has caused so much drama in town recently. Once Vanessa learns that Heather is Joey’s sister, will she dig deeper to find out what the younger Armstrong is really up to?
Vanessa and Heather Officially Meet
On Friday, July 24, 2026, Heather returned to Fairmont Crest and told Joey that she was back and ready to tie up some loose ends. What loose ends? Why, Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning), of course!
Smitty’s reporting has caused some major problems for the Impaler and her organization. So, now Heather wants Smitty silenced — for good. Joey warned that if Heather targeted a congressman’s husband, she would bring dangerous attention to herself. Was she really ready to risk all of that?
This eventually led to the two dangerous siblings reaching a compromise. Heather wouldn’t go after Smitty if Joey could successfully convince Smitty to stop investigating the Impaler. Right after, Vanessa entered the poker room — and found Heather there all alone.
Heather didn’t give Vanessa her name, and instead purposely invoked Vanessa’s jealousy by telling her she shouldn’t assume she was the only person in Joey’s life.
Now, these new Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that Vanessa will soon learn that Heather is actually Joey’s sister.
Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Will Vanessa Learn How Dangerous Heather Is?
Once Vanessa learns that Heather isn’t a romantic rival, but instead Joey’s sister, she’ll certainly have more questions. After all, Joey told Vanessa that his sister had simply left town and he hadn’t been in contact with her in ages. Now, suddenly, she’s back and in his life?
Why did Heather arrive in Fairmont Crest without warning? Why didn’t Joey tell Vanessa about this huge life event?
The latest Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that Vanessa will have a few questions about Heather. Her first meeting with Joey’s sister might not answer all of her questions. This could lead Joey down a tricky path. After all, it’s not like he wants to lie to her. So, will he lie and risk Vanessa’s trust, especially after she’s always trusted him? Or will he reveal information about Heather that could expose her identity as the Impaler?
So far, it doesn’t look like Vanessa will learn that Heather is the Impaler… but one feels it’s only a matter of time now.
