Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) sees cracks forming in the stance Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has taken on his biological mother, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
This comes right after Finn promised his wife, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline McInnes Wood), that his loyalty was to her and their children — and not to Sheila, who desperately wants to be back in their lives. Taylor seems to recognize that Finn might not be as firm in his convictions to deny Sheila as he himself might like to be.
Could this eventually lead to Steffy’s worst fear being realized: Sheila forcing herself back into her family’s lives?
Sheila Wants to be Back in Finn’s Life
Last month, Sheila returned to Los Angeles after leaving when she discovered that her husband, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), was having an affair with Taylor. Because of her rather colorful past, Sheila’s return immediately put Deacon and Taylor on edge. Though Sheila has said she has changed for the better for years now, there was major worry that she would fly off the handle and become Crazy Sheila again.
However, that hasn’t happened… yet. Upon her return, she even officially ended her marriage to Deacon by giving him the divorce he wanted. As a result of this end to her marriage, Sheila has much more time and energy to push for a reconnection with Finn and her grandchildren.
As previous Bold and the Beautiful spoilers confirmed, Finn admitted that he loved Sheila, and then agreed to speak to Steffy on her behalf — even though he knew it could damage his marriage. However, Finn then decided that there was no way that his biological mother could have anything to do with his family.
Recently, he even reassured Steffy that Sheila would never return to their lives. He also promised to protect her and their children. But when Sheila appeared at his office looking for Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), she faced Steffy head-on — and received yet another blunt rejection from Finn’s wife.
Though Sheila has made her case to Steffy herself, it doesn’t appear as if Steffy is willing to believe Sheila. Now, Taylor seems to see the writing on the wall… at least where Finn is concerned.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Taylor Sees Through Finn
Taylor, as Steffy’s mother, might be able to see something that Steffy doesn’t want to admit. She may see that Finn is trying to satisfy both his mother and his wife. He obviously wants to keep his marriage intact… but he also might want some level of a relationship with his biological mother, even after all she’s been through. This wouldn’t be the first time he wanted to have a connection with her, after all.
These new Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Taylor sees cracks in Finn’s resolve. This doesn’t necessarily mean that Finn is going to betray Steffy where Sheila is concerned. However, he might find it harder to keep Sheila far away from him as he once did.
Clearly, this Sheila situation isn’t going to go away anytime soon. So, will Finn be able to keep Sheila at a distance? Is Steffy fighting a losing battle? Will this truly harm their marriage?
