Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) has a few questions for his sister, Kat Richardson (Colby Nixon), about the rather suspicious conversation she had with his husband, Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning).
Will Kat tell her brother the truth… or lie as she and Smitty continue their little investigation?
Kat & Smitty Team Up
Recently on BTG, Smitty has quietly reopened his investigation into the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Lynette Wise (Dominique Madison). A few months ago, Lynette vanished following allegations that she embezzled money.
This led to Smitty getting access to Dr. Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht), one of Lynette’s alleged victims, and then he later compared notes with Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) about the whole thing.
Through this investigation, Smitty has realized that Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) is lying. Hayley initially told Naomi that she was glad Lynette was gone… but then told Smitty that she was worried that something had happened to her.
Kat has already found interest in this case herself. As previous Beyond the Gates spoilers revealed, Kat and Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) had investigated Lynette’s connections. Kat also questioned Lia about her, but the trail eventually went cold. Plus, it didn’t help that Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) pushed back against Kat teaming up with Tomas to investigate.
So, now it looks like Kat and Smitty might team up to better understand the information they have about Lynette. If they find out what truly happened to her, then Hayley is going to be in quite a lot of trouble…
Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Martin Has Questions For Kat
Though we don’t know too much about this latest BTG spoiler, it seems clear that Kat shared some information with Smitty about her earlier Lynette investigation. Both have vital information they can share with each other.
Plus, Beyond the Gates spoilers for Friday reveal that the Dupree cousins compare notes about Hayley’s latest inconsistencies. So, could Kat and Smitty’s conversation lead to even more suspicions about Hayley forming?
Meanwhile, Martin and Smitty have had a strained marriage in the past because of secrecy. So, there’s every possibility that Martin might not like hearing his husband have any sort of guarded conversation — even if it is just with Kat.
If Martin worries that Smitty and Kat are withholding something potentially dangerous from him, he’s not going to be too happy. And if Smitty keeps pursuing this story without Martin’s full trust, then these old marital wounds might put strain on their relationship yet again.
