Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) continue to connect now that they are parents to baby Kelsey.
Recently on DOOL, Alex was beyond shocked when Joy returned to Salem with a baby — and his baby, no less! However, Alex quickly came around to the idea and told Joy that he wanted to be in his daughter’s life, no matter what. He wants to be a good father to Kelsey.
Unfortunately for Alex, things haven’t been completely smooth sailing since Joy and Kelsey returned to town. Though he and Joy are fine and on good terms, Alex and his wife, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), are definitely struggling for a whole lot of reasons.
Luckily, it looks like Alex might have Joy to lean on! Official Days of Our Lives spoilers confirm that Alex and Joy bond on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026. As the two are now parents to a little baby, bonding might become rather normal between the two for the foreseeable future. How will Stephanie take this?

Alex Bonds With Joy Amid Major Stephanie Issues on DOOL
Joy and Kelsey’s return to Salem isn’t the only reason why Alex and Stephanie have been struggling recently. Stephanie has gone through a lot over the past few months, thanks to Owen Kent (Wesley Ramsey) stalking and then kidnapping her.
Now that Owen is behind bars, Stephanie is doing her best to come to terms with her trauma and feel safe in her own home again. She has a gun — that she’s improperly storing — now. She has been taking shooting lessons. Slowly, she’s returning to the woman she used to be.
However, these new Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Alex may connect with Joy more than he does with his own wife — at least when it comes to his child. Stephanie has struggled with the fact that Alex is a father. She’s not ready to be a mother, or a stepmother, and she’s told Alex this countless times.
Stephanie can’t even seem to be in the same room as little Kelsey. Obviously, this is going to be a major issue for her and Alex in the future, especially as they clearly love each other and want to make their new marriage work.
But… will it? As Stephanie continues to push Alex away, could Alex find himself growing closer to Joy? After all, these spoilers have already hinted that the two are going to connect even more. If Alex and Stephanie can’t work things out, then could Joy swoop in to take Steph’s place?
