Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that the progress that Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) made with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) since returning to Salem may be wiped away for good, thanks to his latest move!
Recently on DOOL, it seemed like no one save Jeremy could really comfort Stephanie. After both of them were kidnapped by Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey), Stephanie felt rather cloistered by her husband, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), and instead turned to Jeremy for support. Stephanie felt that she could rely on him, as he knew exactly what she was going through.
Plus, Stephanie felt quite a bit of guilt where Jeremy was concerned. After all, she accused him of stalking her before she realized it was Owen! However, the two were able to work things out. Though they have a really violent past, Jeremy sought to make amends, and after saving Stephanie from Owen, it appeared he did.
In fact, the two have been getting along so well recently that DOOL fans couldn’t help but think that maybe the two would reunite romantically. And what a controversy that would be! However, official Days of Our Lives spoilers have put a halt to this idea, as on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, Jeremy misreads a moment with Stephanie. This mistake might even be major.
Jeremy Horton Leaves Salem on DOOL
As seen in this week’s promo video, it looks like Stephanie is crying, likely because she has just learned that her husband, Alex, has a child with Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins). Jeremy, meanwhile, goes in for a kiss… and it likely doesn’t go well.
Though Stephanie has grown closer to Jeremy since they both went through the same traumatic kidnapping, there’s no indication that she wants to return to how they once were. She’s married to Alex now. Plus, once upon a time, Jeremy was abusive towards her.
Though she’s relying on him now, that doesn’t mean that she wants to romantically be with Jeremy again. She might put him in his place after this latest move. Though these new Days of Our Lives spoilers don’t reveal how Stephanie takes Jeremy’s move, it looks like she won’t take it well.
Let’s remember, Michael Roark is set to exit DOOL this very week. So, after Jeremy mistakenly misreads this moment with Stephanie, could he realize that he’s never going to get what he wants by staying in Salem? He’ll eventually leave town in some way. He could exit after this blunder with Stephanie.
That means Stephanie will be alone as she tries to come to terms with the fact that Alex has a child with another woman. Stephanie isn’t ready to be a mother, especially after her kidnapping. She has already fought with Alex about this. But will she be ready to be a stepmother?
