Bold and the Beautiful spoilers confirm that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) have an “intense first encounter” on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. This first meeting comes as Dylan seeks to start a romance with Katie’s son, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow), now that Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) has broken up with him.
Dylan has stated, more than once, that she is in love with Will. Just how will Katie take to the latest young woman after Will’s heart?
Dylan Wants to Be With Will
Recently on B&B, Dylan was originally introduced to our favorite cast of characters as an art teacher connected to Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) reign of terror. Dylan later admitted that she hit and killed Luna with her car by accident.
Since then, Dylan’s role has been expanded on the show. Now, she’s in a love triangle with Will and Electra — and it looks like she’s going to do whatever it takes to be in a relationship with Will.
Will and Electra have previously helped Dylan when she was struggling. They even went so far as to help her find work, as well as offer her a place to stay. Through this, Dylan was able to grow closer to Will… even though she promised Electra that she would respect their relationship. Eventually, this led to Dylan admitting that she was in love with Will. This didn’t help out her friendship with Electra at all, as previous Bold and the Beautiful spoilers confirmed.
Most recently, the drama between this little love triangle has escalated. After Electra broke things off with Will again, Dylan comforted Will. She ended up staying overnight at Will’s place — and became a mysterious overnight guest to Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) when he came to see his brother the next morning.
Now, it looks like Katie is the next person in Will’s family to meet Dylan. So far, it looks like this meeting will be rather interesting, to say the least.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie Meets Dylan
Like all mothers, Katie can be protective. She might feel even more overprotective at the moment, thanks to all of the drama between the Spencers and the Forresters. The Forresters have, in her view, mistreated her son, especially because he used to work over at Forrester Creations. Furthermore, all of the Forresters ganged up on Will and said he could no longer date Electra.
Will is still reeling from his breakup with Electra, and he clearly wants to make things work for her. Dylan, meanwhile, wants to convince him to move on and stop waiting around for a woman who keeps breaking his heart.
So, could these new Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for August 5 be hinting that Katie doesn’t necessarily like, or trust, Dylan? After all, this comes just one day after B&B spoilers confirmed that Dylan would set her sights on the Spencer family. That sounds a bit… aggressive, doesn’t it?
So far, there’s no indication that Dylan wants anything from Will other than his love. However, it’s not like he comes from a regular family. He’s a Spencer. Katie has every reason to look at Dylan closely and ensure she’s not just using Will to try to get wealth or fame.
This Will-Dylan-Katie dynamic will be interesting to see play out this week, to say the least. Will Katie feel that Dylan has something up her sleeve? Or will she agree that Dylan is a better person for Will than Electra? Anything is possible, really.
If Katie doesn’t like Dylan, or feels that she has an agenda where Will is involved, then we could be seeing another feud emerging!
