Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) takes one more step away from Bill Hamilton’s (Timon Kyle Durrett) influence — and might even be on his way to turning against his mentor completely. And why? Well, it’s all because of Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings), of course!

This has been a long time coming. Ever since Hayley set her sights on Tomas — for he was digging a bit too close to her unsavory past and current deceits — things have been strained between Tomas and Bill. Bill believes everything Hayley tells him, and it’s got to be too much for Tomas!
Tomas Wants to Leave Bill’s Firm on BTG
Previously on BTG, Hayley accused Tomas of sexually harassing a client, which led to Bill lashing out at him. Hayley’s accusation had no truth to it, and no matter how hard Tomas tried to assure Bill that he would never do anything like this, Bill believed in his wife, rather than his partner.
Of course, all of this ill will between Hayley and Tomas has come about because Tomas was getting a bit too close to the truth of who Hayley really is. Tomas’s girlfriend, Kat Richardson (Colby Nixon), knows that Hayley is up to no good, too.
Kat has been instrumental in pushing Tomas to see Hayley for who she really is. According to these new Beyond the Gates spoilers, it appears that Tomas is ready to break ties with Bill by taking a new job at a new firm. Kat’s been supportive of this move… but Bill might not be.
After all, Bill was a mentor to Tomas. To have him leave might hurt Bill. However, this might be the move that Bill needs to continue to investigate Hayley and Lynette Wise (Dominique Madison) — something he’s already asked Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) to do.
Could this really be the end of Bill and Tomas’ legal partnership? Will Tomas, now that he breaks from Bill professionally, work with Kat to uncover the truth that Hayley is hiding?
