Young and the Restless spoilers hint that things heat up between Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Things have slowly gotten much better between the two exes… but does this spoiler hint that we might finally see a reconciliation between them?
In the new weekly preview of the CBS soap, Cane points out that Lily made him the CEO of Chancellor… and invited him over. He then jokes that she might be starting to like him. Lily only answers with a smile. So, could Lily and Cane fans finally get to see their favorite couple reunite?
Cane & Lily’s Rocky Relationship History
For months, Cane has tried his best to rebuild what his many schemes and shifting identities destroyed between him and Lily — and him and his children. However, his strongest argument that he has changed has been when he showed up when Lily needed him the most.
Instead of giving her another speech about how he changed, Cane changed her mind when he offered to become a bone marrow donor during her biological father, Malcolm Winters’ (Shemar Moore), health crisis. This gesture eventually led to the two reopening communication.
Later, as Young and the Restless spoilers hinted at, Lily chose to place Cane in charge of Chancellor. This gave him professional responsibility once again — and showed that she was willing to have confidence in him. As could be expected, their working partnership has since become very natural between the former spouses.
Recently, Lily even approved Cane’s decision to offer Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), her half-brother, a job. This led to Lily admitting that Cane keeps surprising her by making her life much easier. However, she does remain unsettled by how difficult she finds it to trust him fully.
Now, it looks like these new spoilers hint that sparks continue to ignite for Lily and Cane. Cane believes that his new role as CEO at Chancellor means he’s making real progress with Lily. Could he be right?

Clearly, things are about to heat up between this formerly married couple. Could this mean the duo will share a kiss? Or perhaps a charged confession? Maybe even a more intimate reunion?
Regardless of what exactly happens between Cane and Lily on Tuesday, it’s clear that the two can’t ignore their returning feelings for one another. So, could these Young and the Restless spoilers confirm that Lane is back and on track?
Not so fast. Other spoilers for the week hint that Lily might try to create boundaries between her and Cane. So, even if something romantic does indeed happen between them, Lily might still have a hard time trusting her ex-husband after all that he has done.
