Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) has an awful lot of very serious drama to deal with this week. First, she’s getting a mammogram and dealing with a potential cancer scare — and all while she’s pregnant.
Secondly, her husband, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), may find himself in a life-or-death situation when Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) attacks him. Sophia is working with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), and Kristen has told the teenager that she needs to kill Johnny. All of this appears to go down when Chanel is with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), preparing for her mammogram.
The last thing Chanel needs at the moment is for Sophia to attack Johnny. After all, she may very well be in for a world of uncertainty if she does have cancer. What will she do if Sophia gets revenge and truly kills Johnny? How will Chanel face her future alone?
Unfortunately for Johnny and Chanel, things don’t look too good. Official Days of Our Lives spoilers confirm that on Thursday, April 30, 2026, Sarah helps prep Chanel for her mammogram. Meanwhile, the next day, on Friday, May 1, 2026, Sarah supports Chanel.
Chanel & Johnny Face Life or Death Situations on DOOL
So, Chanel gets her mammogram this week — and may find out if she has cancer or not. Already, that’s a dramatic week for her. However, Sarah lending her support to Chanel on Friday is interesting. Is Sarah supporting her because of the results of the mammogram… or because something is seriously wrong with Johnny?
On Thursday and Friday, Johnny and Sophia face off. Sophia is doing Kristen’s bidding and will do something in her quest to kill Johnny. Whether she actually attacks Johnny or not remains to be seen. However, if Chanel learns that Sophia is on the loose and hurting people, she’s going to worry about her husband.
All of this happens while Chanel is trying to figure out if she has cancer, according to these new Days of Our Lives spoilers. Not an ideal week for her, to say the least. Luckily, she does seem to have Sarah by her side to help her out. So, no matter what happens, at least Chanel won’t be alone in the near future.
That doesn’t mean she won’t be alone in the far future, however. After all, we have to remember that Chanel and Johnny, among others, are set to leave Salem, in some way or another, in the future. Will we begin to see their exit storylines play out now, even if they don’t leave for a few more months?
Even if Johnny makes it out of his battle with Sophia alive, Chanel might not be in the clear when it comes to her cancer scare. As she’s pregnant at the moment, the last thing Chanel needs is to be dealing with a possible tumor or any other health issue. If she does have cancer or an illness, will she be able to get accurate treatment while she’s pregnant? Is this how Chanel is going to be written out?
It looks like we’ll have to wait and see…
