Young and the Restless rumors are hinting that there’s much more to Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani) than meets the eye. Riza was brought back onto the CBS soap opera as her old friend, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), aka Spider, returned to Las Vegas in his quest to find Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
Adam pretended that he wanted to work with Riza again as Spider — and Riza chose to trust him. When she learned that he was simply using her to find Matt, her other partner, she wasn’t too happy. However, when she learned how terrible Matt was, she chose to help Adam and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Adam is now back in Genoa City, while it appears Riza has remained in Las Vegas. Adam promised Riza that he would protect her and give her money to start over somewhere else, as she betrayed Matt for Adam. As Matt is currently suffering from amnesia, it doesn’t appear as if Riza is in any trouble… yet.
However, we can’t help but feel there’s more to Riza’s story on Young and the Restless. This can’t be the last we see of her, can it? At the very least, Riza may become a vital person in Adam’s storyline, as he has already confessed to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) that he did like being Spider again. So, will Riza tempt Adam to return to his old life… or is there something more to this mysterious character?
Will Riza Become Important to Adam on Y&R?
Riza may return to the soap opera in a variety of ways. Matt Clark still doesn’t know who he is, but once he regains his memory, she’ll definitely be in danger. After all, Matt already said that she betrayed him. Adam has assured Riza that he’ll protect her — and we might indeed see this play out. Adam protecting Riza might not sit well with Chelsea, as it’s clear the two ladies don’t exactly love each other.
There’s clearly a connection between Adam and Riza on Young and the Restless. That’s undeniable. Adam has already explained to Chelsea that she doesn’t have to worry about Riza… though he did feel a pull to return to his life as Spider. While Adam might not want to reignite his romantic relationship with Riza, there’s always the possibility that he might seek her out for more work as Spider.
Or is something else at play here? Young and the Restless rumors are swirling that there might be more to Riza than was first revealed. Perhaps she has a secret child who is Adam’s? After all, Adam’s memory about his time as Spider in Las Vegas is hazy, at best. When he first reunited with Riza, he confessed he couldn’t remember what she meant to him.
Could Riza have had Adam’s child and kept this a secret when he left to return to his life in Genoa City? Anything is possible on this soap! If this fan prediction does come true, then Riza will become a very important person in Adam’s life — whether Chelsea likes it or not.
Even if Riza doesn’t have a secret baby with Adam, she still might become important to Adam. Not for nothing did he confess that he liked being Spider again! This is Adam Newman we’re talking about. Eventually, he might spiral and return to his old ways. If so, he might run straight back to Riza…
