Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) grows even closer to Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) as he struggles to deal with the secret that his mother, Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford), is alive.
Theo has been greatly struggling with the revelation that his mother is alive and could wake up at any moment. EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) warned Theo that he couldn’t tell anyone about Lexie — even his father, Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Theo has agreed, but he did confess to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) about Lexie’s state of living during a session with Salem’s best therapist.
Marlena understood why Theo had been feeling so overwhelmed recently. She recommended that he start journaling to help him get everything off his chest. However, it also looks like he has Gabi he can turn to.
Official Days of Our Lives spoilers confirm that Theo opens up to Gabi on Monday, April 20, 2026. Could Theo end up confessing about Lexie to Gabi? Or will Gabi begin to put together the pieces herself of why Theo is so upset?
Theo Leans on Gabi on DOOL
Theo has always had Gabi to lean on. Throughout much of his life, the two have been good friends. As Gabi just told Philip Kiriakis (Jean-Paul Lavoisier), she’s known Theo since high school. So, if anyone could help him deal with what he’s going through, it’s Gabi.
Of course, Theo likely won’t tell Gabi about Lexie, as it’s such a huge secret. But that doesn’t mean that Gabi won’t find out in another way. This is Gabi Hernandez we’re talking about, after all. She has a knack for finding out things she’s not supposed to.
While these new Days of Our Lives spoilers don’t hint at whether Theo confesses about Lexie, the new promo video sheds light on what does happen. Theo takes Marlena’s advice and begins to journal… and then accidentally leaves his journal behind after talking with Gabi!
It’s left open, and Gabi sees it. Could she accidentally read about Lexie — or maybe even herself? — in his journal? After all, there’s definitely some romance between Gabi and Theo, as well as that secret they’re choosing to keep from Philip.
Gabi may be madly in love with Philip, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to stay that way. This is a soap opera. She clearly has a deep connection with Theo, and if she’s able to help him out with his emotions revolving around this Lexie secret, then the two might only grow closer.
And then, Philip might have something to worry about.
