Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is ready to take action to save Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) as he faces off against their old enemy, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
Things aren’t looking too good for Nick at the moment. Matt is in Las Vegas telling Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that Nick has overdosed and has now died. Obviously, that’s not true — there’s no way Y&R is killing off Nick Newman like this! And off-screen, no less!
Matt is clearly trying to mess with the Newmans, once again. Sharon has absolutely no idea what’s going on in Las Vegas at the moment. However, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) just arrived in Sin City — shocking Adam and Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani) in the process — so if anyone’s going to call Sharon to tell her the unfortunate news, it’ll be Chelsea.
It looks like Sharon is ready to act. Official Young and the Restless spoilers confirm that Sharon hits the road to go help save Nick on Friday, April 17, 2026. Will Sharon be able to get there in time to truly save Nick? And what will she find when she does come face-to-face with Nick again?
Nick & Sharon Face Off Against Matt Clark on Y&R
Previously on Y&R, Sharon has been dealing with Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) mental health breakdown. Now that Mariah is in a mental facility to try to get the treatment she needs, Sharon has the opportunity to head out to Las Vegas to help Adam, Chelsea, and Nick as they try to face down Matt Clark.
Adam and Nick tracked Matt down in Las Vegas. Riza might be able to work alongside Adam to get one over on Matt. But still, things aren’t looking too great for all involved, as Matt has Nick. Plus, it’s not like Nick’s in the right frame of mind, as he’s dealing with a terrible addiction at the moment.
Therefore, these new Young and the Restless spoilers are welcome. Once Sharon gets to Las Vegas, she could help out — and possibly save Nick in the process. After all, this Matt Clark story began all those years ago with Nick and Sharon. Both of them should be the ones to take down Matt, once and for all.
However, Nick might not be in the best of shape when all is said and done. Who knows what Matt has done to him since he’s had him in captivity? He already said that he would get Nick even more addicted to drugs — and he just might.
Therefore, even when all of this Matt drama is said and done, Nick might need Sharon more than ever. Will Sharon be able to save Nick from Matt… and then help him with his addiction when they’re in the clear?
