Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and his currently estranged wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), come together and put aside their major differences in their quest to help their struggling son, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Nick isn’t in a great place at the moment. The Newman heir is struggling with an addiction to pills while also going out of his mind with anger and worry now that his enemy, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), has returned to Genoa City. At first, Nick wanted to kill Matt and was forming a plan to vanquish his foe, once and for all.
Now, he has settled down a bit… but is still erratic, still using, and still worrying everyone around him. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has an amnesiac Matt Clark and is trying to trade him to Victor — but only if Victor lets her keep Summers Conglomerate and only if Victor pushes Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) to drop the criminal charges against her.
Victor won’t bite. Nick, however, has already gone against his father and agreed to Phyllis’ terms. But will Nick follow through, or will Victor stop him? Official Young and the Restless spoilers confirm that Victor and Nikki put their differences aside to help Nick on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Can Victor and Nikki save their son before he spirals out of control even more?

Can Victor and Nikki Work Out Their Issues on Y&R?
Nick is spiraling. He desperately needs to go to rehab and seek help — something he hasn’t done yet, since Matt Clark has reappeared. If anyone can help him, it’s going to be his family. However, it’s not like Victor and Nikki are in a great place. The two aren’t even on speaking terms, and Nikki has moved out!
Victor and Nikki’s marriage is on the brink, and there’s no sign that things will work out. Since their huge fight that resulted in Victor kicking Nikki off the ranch, Nikki has leaned on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Victor’s enemy. Even more interesting, Nikki has said she might even help Jack take down Victor, simply because he has gone too far.
These are the first Young and the Restless spoilers that have hinted that Victor and Nikki might be able to put aside their differences for their family. Of course, even if they’re there for Nick, it doesn’t mean that these two will make up and reunite.
Too much has happened. Victor still doesn’t have Newman Enterprises, and if Nick gets his way, Victor might not get it from Phyllis anytime soon. Victor still hates Jack. Nikki, meanwhile, won’t work things out with Victor because of what he did to her old friend Jack.
So, while it’ll be nice to see these two unite to help their son, this doesn’t mean that Victor and Nikki are out of the woods yet. Will we ever see this iconic couple back together again?
