Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) continue to connect — even after Cane’s arrest!
Recently on Y&R, Lily was beside herself with worry when Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) had Cane arrested, thanks to the fake AI evidence that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gave Christine, signaling that Cane and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) illegally stole Newman Enterprises from him. Obviously, Lily didn’t want to see Cane arrested — especially as he’s about to undergo a bone marrow procedure to help save Malcolm Winters’ (Shemar Moore) life.
Since Cane got tested and learned he was a match for this procedure, Lily has been incredibly grateful. In fact, the formerly married couple has finally been able to communicate with each other without one or the other becoming upset. For Cane and Lily fans, this is what they’ve been waiting for.
But now that Cane has been arrested, will everything fall apart between them? Not so! Official Young and the Restless spoilers confirm that Cane takes a big step with Lily on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. So, are we on our way to a full-fledged Cane-Lily reunion?
Will Cane & Lily Get Back Together on Y&R?
Cane and Lily have a long history — to say the least. Though the two have been at each other’s throats since Cane returned to Genoa City, Malcolm’s illness has brought the two back together. Cane is going out of his way to save Malcolm’s life, and Lily has begun to see the man she once fell in love with.
Of course, the arrest does make things rather difficult. But it appears that Cane will still be able to undergo this bone marrow surgery and save Malcolm’s life, even though Malcolm is in New York. So, while the arrest and the eventual court case will likely bring a lot of drama to Cane and Lily, it looks like they’ll stick together to save Malcolm at the moment.
Plus, according to these new Young and the Restless spoilers, Cane makes an awfully big step. Could this be his first attempt to truly reunite with Lily? He has already told her, time and time again, that he loves her and that he wants her back. Sure, he has made quite a lot of mistakes. But he is still the man Lily fell in love with all those years ago, and she’s beginning to see that man again now that he’s helping Malcolm.
If Lily decides to give Cane another chance, she’ll have a lot of drama headed her way. After all, no one in her family will be thrilled to hear that she’s back with Cane. Her brother, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), has been worried that Cane will win Lily over by saving Malcolm. These latest Young and the Restless spoilers hint he might be right!
Plus, there’s all this Victor drama. Lily worked with Victor to get back at Cane not too long ago — and her deal with him didn’t even end with her getting what Victor promised her. Now, Victor is going after Cane. If this big step does lead to Lily and Cane getting back together, will we see the two unite to go after Victor?
